1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Cornerstone Global, Inc. ("Cornerstone," "we," "us," or "our") and govern your access to and use of the Cornerstone: Connect application and related services (the "App"). By tapping "continue," verifying your phone number, or otherwise using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Who we are

The App is operated by Cornerstone Global, Inc., organized under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. You can reach us about these Terms, privacy questions, or data-deletion requests at [email protected].

3. Eligibility and age

The App is intended for members and guests of the Cornerstone community. You may use the App if you are at least 13 years old.

If you are under 18 (a minor), you may only use the App with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the App. By using the App as a minor, you represent that you have obtained that consent.

Because the App collects a government-issued ID and a selfie for identity verification, a parent or guardian must supervise the verification step for any user who is a minor.

4. Your account and phone verification

Access is secured through your mobile phone number and a one-time passcode (OTP) sent by SMS. You are responsible for keeping access to your phone number and for all activity that occurs under your account.

• Provide a mobile number that belongs to you and that you are authorized to use.
• Do not share your OTP with anyone; we will never ask you for it outside the App's sign-in screen.
• Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

5. Identity verification (EKYC)

To confirm that you are who you say you are, the App asks you to provide personal information, a profile photo, a photo of a valid government-issued ID, and a selfie holding that ID (collectively, the "Verification Materials").

You agree that the Verification Materials you submit are true, accurate, and your own, and that you have the right to submit them. Submitting forged, altered, or someone else's documents is strictly prohibited and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

We use the Verification Materials only to verify your identity and your eligibility to participate in Cornerstone activities. We delete the ID and selfie images once your profile has been verified, and we otherwise handle your information as described in our Privacy Policy and in accordance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

6. Event attendance and member QR code

Once verified, the App generates a QR code tied to your member profile so that event organizers can record your attendance at Cornerstone activities. You agree to use your QR code only for your own attendance and not to copy, sell, or transfer it to another person.

7. Acceptable use

When using the App, you agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
• Upload content that is false, offensive, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share.
• Attempt to access, probe, or disrupt the App, its servers, or other users' data, or bypass any security or verification measure.
• Use automated means to access the App or collect information from it without our permission.

8. Your information and content

You retain ownership of the information and images you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use, store, and process them solely to operate the App and provide its features (such as identity verification and event attendance). You are responsible for ensuring the information you provide is accurate and kept up to date.

9. Privacy and data protection

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what personal data we collect, how we use and protect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under the Data Privacy Act of 2012. By using the App, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described there. 10. Intellectual property

The App, including its name, logo, design, text, and software, is owned by Cornerstone or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the App under these Terms, no rights are granted to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App without our prior written consent.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms, if we are unable to verify your identity, or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to other users or to Cornerstone. You may stop using the App at any time and may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting [email protected].

12. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure, or that verification results will be free from delay or error.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cornerstone and its officers, volunteers, and staff will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the App. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Philippines.
